Champion Coat Drive

For most people, when it turns cold they simply reach in the closet and grab a warm coat. Sadly, many people in Chicagoland don’t have that option. Knowing that this is no place to be without a coat, Champion Window began a coat drive. In addition to collecting coats, Champion offered an additional $100 off window purchases in exchange for a coat donation.

In November of 2010, the 300 coats were donated by Champion to the Salvation Army. “We are so appreciative of everyone at Champion, our customers and friends that shared in this effort to help our community, states Steve Piwowar, Division Manager of Champion, Thanks to everyone’s generosity there are 300 people that have a warm coat this winter.”
