2009 – 2010 Energy Tax Credit – 30% of the amount paid for qualifying products up to $1,500.*
We are pleased to inform you that your purchase of Champion® Windows and Entry Doors may qualify you for a Federal Tax Credit as provided for in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, which has provisions for Energy Conservation Incentives. Per the Internal Revenue Code Section 25C: eligible windows doors and skylights must have both a U-Factor equal to or less than 0.30 and a Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) equal to or less than 0.30.
This Manufacturer’s Certification Statement, which is prepared by Champion Window and Door Mfg., 12121 Champion Way, Cincinnati, OH 45241; can be used by you, as a tax payer, as verification that Champion has determined the following window and door styles featuring Comfort 365® Glass are Eligible Building Envelope Components under the IRS guidelines, and therefore qualify for the credit allowed under Internal Revenue Code Section 25C, when Purchased and Installed after February 17, 2009 through December 31, 2010.
