Great Day Improvements - Director of Lead Generation Partnerships

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Lead Generation Partnerships to oversee and optimize our enterprise-wide Pay Per Lead (PPL), lead aggregator, and affiliate marketing partnerships across our portfolio of home services brands. This role requires a dynamic leader who can act as a “PPL Bulldog”—proactively managing partnerships, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring high-quality lead delivery while balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will combine analytical rigor with assertive relationship management to drive profitability, scalability, and alignment with brand objectives.

Responsibilities

1. Partnership Management & Performance Oversight
 • Monitor and Optimize Lead Flow: Ensure proper pacing of lead delivery across all brands, verticals, and geographies to meet monthly targets without oversaturation.
 • Quality Control: Implement strict KPIs (e.g., lead conversion rates, cost per acquisition) and enforce performance standards with PPL partners.
 • Proactive Issue Resolution: Identify underperforming partners, troubleshoot delivery issues, and escalate contractual penalties for non-compliance.
2. Negotiation & Contract Management
 • Enterprise-Favorable Pricing: Negotiate volume-based discounts, geographic pricing tiers, and vertical-specific terms with lead aggregators and affiliates.
 • Contract Compliance: Ensure partners adhere to SLAs (e.g., lead exclusivity, data accuracy) and renegotiate terms as market conditions evolve.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
 • Align with Brand Leaders: Serve as the primary liaison between PPL partners and internal brand teams, balancing competing priorities and communicating performance insights.
 • Collaborate with Finance/Marketing: Forecast budgets, allocate spend efficiently, and ensure ROI aligns with brand-specific goals.
4. Data-Driven Strategy & Reporting
 • Performance Dashboards: Build real-time reporting tools to track lead quality, cost trends, and partner ROI across brands.
 • Monthly Reviews: Present actionable insights to executive leadership, recommending shifts in spend, partner additions/removals, or new tactics.
5. Market Expansion & Innovation
 • Vet New Partners: Identify emerging lead sources (e.g., niche aggregators, geo-targeted affiliates) to diversify lead mix.
 • Test New Models: Pilot performance-based incentives (e.g., pay-for-conversion structures) to reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years in performance marketing, PPL/lead generation, or affiliate management, preferably in home services, SaaS, or related industries.
• Technical Skills:
 o Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau) and CRM platforms.
 o Familiarity with lead tracking systems (e.g., Cake, TUNE) and bid management platforms.

• Soft Skills:
 o Assertive Negotiator: Ability to push back on underperforming partners while maintaining productive relationships.
 o Influential Communicator: Skilled at managing up (to executives) and down (to brand managers).
 o Detail-Oriented Organizer: Capable of juggling multiple brands, geographies, and partner demands.
• Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams or cross-functional initiatives at a director level or above.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the home services industry (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, etc.).
• Background in managing large-scale affiliate networks or lead aggregators (e.g., Angi, Thumbtack).
• Certification in Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, or similar platforms.

Performance Metrics
• Lead Cost Efficiency: Reduce average CPL by 15% YOY while maintaining lead quality.
• Partner Accountability: Achieve 95%+ compliance with SLAs across all partnerships.
• Brand Satisfaction: Maintain 90%+ satisfaction scores from internal brand leaders.
