Great Day Improvements LLC, home to Patio Enclosures and Stanek Windows, seeks Manufacturing Lead in our Manufacturing facility in Macedonia, OH. You will be responsible for the operation of department(s) within the Manufacturing function, supporting the Supervisor with the day-to-day management of their department(s), overseeing a group of employees and ensuring an efficient operation in achieving business targets. Provide leadership and line management to the team, coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers the product, monitoring for any issues, and ensuring production targets. Ensuring quality standards are met in order to meet the requirements of the customer. Develop the team by focusing on individual performance and support requirements to achieve high standards, whilst fostering a culture of working safely. Work under general supervision, reviewed by Supervisors.

1st Shift - 6:00am to 2:30pm

· Establish team goals that align with the organizational goals and business/operational needs

· Coordinate, drive, and assist in the prioritization of daily activities to meet production goals as well as adherence to ethics and safety procedures

· Analyze/investigate production issues and work with the team to investigate root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for processes

· Evaluate Manufacturing equipment for safety and functionality

· Update Supervisor to support operational success and work as an intermediary between Associates and Supervisors to create healthy communication.

· Ensure that products and goods manufactured meet quality standards obtainable in the industry

· Executes projects in a timely manner

· Ensure work supplies and materials are available for production needs

· Keep accurate and thorough records of worker’s performance

· Coach others on procedures, team work, etc. and lead by example, exemplify positive behavior

· Assist in training new personnel, as required

· Provide input to employee performance management process for personnel as required and/or assigned

· Addressing complaints and resolving problems.

· Ability to multi-task is an essential job-function for this role.

· Leads team through production activities

· Ensure production line-up is prepared for the next shift and parts are available

· Ensures their department is in compliance with required standards and is using most recent procedures/protocols

· Ensures their department completes tasks associated with their respective shift, and when applicable, performs routine preventative maintenance inspections and tasks

· Ensures inspection of parts (and records inspections as required) at start-up and throughout process per SOP are completed and recorded as required and optimizes production

· Strong knowledge of machine capabilities and processes related to their specific department

· Posses excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with team members and management

· Strong ability to motivate, lead, and give directions to team members

· Have excellent time management skills

· Must be safety conscious

Work environment:

Ability to work in a high noise level area. Standing/ walking for the majority of shift. The physical environment can require the employee to work in extreme heat/cold.
