Our History
1953 Alvin Levine and Arthur Stevens founded Champion Window Company in Cincinnati, Ohio, as a small manufacturer of aluminum storm windows, doors and awnings.
1963 Champion builds a 3,200-square-foot building in Cincinnati.
1970 Champion becomes one of the first companies in the United States to replace aluminum with vinyl window frames in their replacement windows.
1988 When Arthur Stevens passes away, Edward Levine and Bernard Barbash buy his interest in the company with the option to buy Alvin Levine's stock when he retires.
1990 Patio rooms and porch enclosures are so successful, a separate division is created for them.
1992 Champion opens its first satellite office, a factory showroom in Lexington, Kentucky.
1995 Champion constructs a new 80,000-square-foot office, warehouse and fabricating plant. This new facility sets the standard of vinyl window production and allows Champion to continue its rapid growth and provide faster turnaround with better quality to its growing list of satellite offices.
1997 Champion adds a second window manufacturing facility in Denver, Colorado, to support future growth in the western states.
1998 Bernard Barbash and Edward Levine buy Alvin Levine's share of the company.
1999 Champion has 39 sales and installation offices in 19 states.
2000 Champion is officially coast-to-coast with 47 factory showrooms nationwide.
2000 Champion moves into its new 502,000-square-foot corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in Cincinnati. This puts Champion leaps and bounds ahead in technology, quality and in the variety of products they offer.
2001

Champion earns the Good Housekeeping Seal on their Vinyl Replacement Windows and Patio Rooms

2004

Champion has 55 Showrooms Nationwide
Champion’s corporate headquarters location wins the 2004 Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Marketplace ethics
