National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC)

Champion is proud to be NFRC approved. The NFRC is a non-profit organization that offers the only uniform, independent rating and labeling system for the energy performance of fenestration products including replacement windows, doors, skylights, and attachment products. NFRC was established with the mission to assist consumer sby providing fair, accurate, and credible energy performance ratings for architects, builders, code officials, contractors, homeowners, and others

The NFRC Rating System takes into consideration various aspects when examining fenestration products, including thermal transmittance, solar heat gain, visible transmittance, air leakage, and condensation resistance. This rating and labeling system allows consumers to compare and contrast a variety of products available and make informed choices on which is the best for their needs.
